There photos are for my lovely sister who happens to be stuck on The Mainland. I’m half bragging and half comforting her, cause she misses the ocean more than she misses me. (I don’t blame her)
Steve and Panda Bear are from Winnipeg, and they’ve been travelling and busking together for almost thirteen years. We met them here in Nanaimo, a west coast a city over 2300 kilometres from Winnipeg. After this picture was taken from across the street, Steve jokingly asked for $5 in return. Instead, we bought him a coffee, gave him and Panda the change, and sat down for a short chat. He had the bluest eyes I’d ever seen.

I spent a wonderful day enjoying the beauty of the harbour and experiencing a cold day with two very important and wonderful people. Couldn’t be more grateful.
