violet ice cream; definitely a highlight of my life

Chateau B, where i spent some of the best afternoons of my life. I can’t believe how much i took it’s beauty for granted.

This may not be a spectacular picture, but it means a lot to me. This is one of my best friends in the entire world, whom i wont see for a couple years longer. We became extremely close in a matter of weeks. Unfortunately, the weeks were those preceding my departure. My time in France was up, while she still had a couple months to go. On this day, we sat in the sun, waiting for the train, and we talked about everything. She told me about her hardships and problems and i told her about mine. 

“Honey, please remember. If you are ever sad, do not worry. You are young and it will always go away”

For someone who’d been though so much, her words really stuck to me. She knew what she was talking about. 

I hope to see her again soon one day.

I just wanted to remember everything about that place and the vines that grew on the old ruins made me so ridiculously happy..
